I've had a few camp names over the years-at Camp Promise they call me Frills. If you thought of No Frills, you're right! I do love No Frills in general, but I also love adding extra "frills" and fun to life. I used to believe that God would satisfy only my basic needs, but I've experienced his abundance and special gifts-over and above what I could imagine. Camp Promise is one of those gifts, and I'm loving all the ways God is surprising me here.

Ben (Nugget)
I am super excited to be part of Camp Promise this year. I love hanging out with kids, having fun and making good memories together. I also really enjoy sports - especially soccer! My camp name is Nugget - because yes, I really love chicken nuggets. 😁 They‘re small, tasty and you can eat them anytime.
Julia (Corny)
My camp name is Corny because I really like the German muesli bar “Corny“. I also grew up on a farm and my family grows grain.
Niclas (Yoshi)
Hey, I’m Niclas and my camp name is Yoshi because Yoshi is my favorite character in the video game Mario Kart. Besides that, I’m 19 years old. I love playing guitar and piano, playing soccer, and spending time with other people.
Flori (Rose)
Hi! I’m Flori and my camp name is Rose. I like those flowers but the reason I actually chose this name is that my real name means among others flower. Flowers bring joy to people just like I want to give the kids joy at Camp Promise.
