MISSIONS INTERNSHIP
Are you 18 to 25 and would love to gain cross-cultural, hands on mission experience, in an urban inner city setting, within North America?
The Mission Field is all around us. Many, many people in Barrie, Ontario Canada have not heard nor received the gospel message of love, redemption and hope. We see this every day in our interactions with children, youth and their families. Barrie is a growing city of about 150,000, only one hour north of Toronto. It is a city of growing diversity with growing needs. Individuals and families face many barriers to education, full time workforce, emotional, physical and spiritual health and a supportive community of people, because of many reasons that seem inescapable and perpetuated generationally.
18-25 YEARS OF AGE?
Whether you've just finished school, are between jobs, or are looking for your next great adventure, interning at Camp Promise will give you hands-on experience in working with children.
LOVE WORKING WITH KIDS?
Have the opportunity to be mentored and coached in your personal spiritual growth, while helping to design and implement a relational ministry for children and youth through after school/evening, weekend adventures, summer camp and church on Sunday.
WONDERING HOW TO USE YOUR GIFTS?
Explore and develop the gifts, talents, purposes and passions that God has designed IN you.
LOCAL & INTERNATIONAL
Mission Internships are open to local, national and international applicants, and last for one year. Housing is provided for international interns, and options to work or go to school part-time are available. As a missionary, you will be required to raise a portion of the costs associated with your internship.
