Camp Promise welcomes volunteers from high school age to seniors in their wise, life-experienced filled golden years! Your gifts and talents and practical life skills are needed to be passed on to this younger generation. Maybe you would like to become a "reading buddy" with one of our progressing young readers! Whether you need some volunteer hours to complete high school requirements, desire to gain some hands-on experience working with children and youth to build your resume, connect with children and youth who need healthy role models of all ages in their lives, or just put your talents and gifts to use because you're itching to do so.... We welcome your application to volunteer!
An interview will be set up once your application has been received. Please note: in accordance with the safe church requirements for Bethel Community Church, where Camp Promise is located, a valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) through the Police Department is required. If you currently have a VSC that is under two years old, you may submit a copy of this during your interview. If you do not have a VSC, click here for a letter that is available for you to obtain this at no cost to you. *All volunteers age 18 and over must have a valid VSC to work on-site with children and youth.
